The evening also provided an opportunity to officially welcome Fred Quadros, Calvary Hyson’s new Retirement Living Manager.
Welcoming Fred Quadros to Calvary Hyson
Fred spent time meeting residents, hearing about life at Hyson and getting to know the people who call it home.
Shannon Thompson, General Manager of the Calvary Kooyong Health and Retirement Precinct, welcomed Fred to the team and spoke about the important role he will play at Hyson.
“We are delighted to welcome Fred to Calvary Hyson and the broader Calvary Kooyong Health and Retirement Precinct,” Ms Thompson said. “Building strong relationships with residents is such an important part of retirement living, and Fred brings a real enthusiasm for bringing people together. We look forward to seeing him get to know our residents and become part of life at Hyson.”
Fred said he was excited to take on the role and looked forward to getting to know residents.
“I’m excited to be part of the Hyson community and look forward to getting to know everyone,” Fred said.“Building strong connections and creating opportunities for residents to come together is something I’m passionate about, and I’m looking forward to becoming part of the community.”
Bringing Calvary Hyson residents together
The evening also featured a few unexpected musical moments, with Fred breaking into song on several occasions, much to the delight of residents and adding to the relaxed atmosphere.
The Mix & Mingle was a great opportunity for residents to spend time together and give Fred a warm welcome as he begins his new role at Calvary Hyson.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such an enjoyable occasion.
