Further information
Inactive Overnight Sleepover shifts include 8 hours inactive support. Inactive Overnight Sleepover shifts must include an additional two hours of active Home Care Support.
Cancellation fees apply if the appointment is cancelled at short notice, in accordance with the new Act.
For Home Care Support and Nursing Services only, the minimum appointment time is 30 min. For other services, minimum appointment time is per rates published in this schedule. For all services, where appointments extend beyond the scheduled time, the additional time will be rounded to the nearest 15-minute interval and charged on a pro rata basis.
If we are unable to deliver a service in your area we will recommend someone who can. This may involve an additional cost to the prices listed above. Your Care Manager will discuss this with you prior to services commencing.
If you would like to receive a particular service from someone external to us then you can request to have them service you through Calvary. If you choose a third-party service provider, you’ll be charged the provider’s fee plus 10% up to a cap of $100. Your Care Manager will discuss this with you prior to services commencing.
Support at Home program
Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM)
The price charged for AT-HM items will be based on the final agreed cost of the goods and services provided. This may include:
- the cost of the item
- supplier delivery charges
- prescription or assessment costs
- installation and wrap-around services
The Provider Fees below are charged to cover sourcing, quotation management, procurement, ordering, coordination, delivery tracking, supplier liaison, invoicing, and claiming activities.

Care management fee
Care management is a key feature of the program, ensuring you receive the best possible outcomes from your services. Your provider will:
- Work with you to develop and adjust your care plan.
- Monitor your needs over time and ensure services are effective.

Payment options
Calvary offers a variety of payment methods.
- BPAY: use the Biller Code and the BPAY reference number provided on your bill.
- Credit/debit card: pay online through our Home Care payment portal or call us on 1300 272 364.

Payments are managed through our Head Office. Calvary employees cannot be paid directly.

If you’re eligible, you’ll be assigned one of eight ongoing funding classifications. The cost of home care depends on:
- the services you choose
- how often you receive care
- whether your care is government-funded or privately arranged
Calvary is transparent about pricing, with competitive hourly rates, no hidden fees, and no basic daily fees.
The Single Assessment System will determine the level of funding you are eligible to receive for your care. This will also prescribe the services you can access from the service list.
Your contribution depends on your income and the type of services you receive:
- Clinical services are fully funded
- Independence services are partly funded
- Everyday living services usually require a higher contribution
You only pay for services you use.
If you experience financial hardship, support is available. Calvary can help you understand hardship options and guide you through the process.
Support at Home funding is allocated quarterly. With Calvary’s guidance, you’ll have flexibility in how your budget is used for approved services. Your Care Manager will help you plan services, monitor spending, adjust care as needs change, and make sure you’re getting the best value from your funding.
