'In Good Company' Museum Exhibition

For one hundred years, Calvary Riverina Hospital has cared for generations of local families. Our In Good Company Exhibition is your chance to explore that shared history.
Presented at the Museum of the Riverina for three months, this special exhibition will share the history, memories and milestones of Calvary Riverina Hospital, from its founding by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary 100 years ago to the hospital as it stands today.
Inspired by Margaret A. Clark’s ‘In Good Company: A History of the Little Company of Mary Sisters in the Australian Province 1885 to the present’, the exhibition highlights the faith, courage and compassion that shaped a century of care.
A story told through people
As well as sharing treasured historical artefacts and archives, this exhibition celebrates people. Visitors will encounter stories of the remarkable nurses, doctors, patients, families and community members whose lives have been woven into the hospital’s history.
Throughout the exhibition, video reflections and recorded memories will bring these stories to life; voices of those who have lived the history of the hospital, sharing anecdotes of care, dedication and community.
A shared legacy
All exhibition items are drawn from Calvary’s own collection, carefully preserved to be shared for our centenary celebration. For three months, this will be the museum’s main exhibition, offering a dedicated space for the Riverina community to reflect on the legacy of care that has shaped generations.
Whether you were born at, worked at, or have been touched by the care of Calvary Riverina Hospital, this exhibition offers a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with a shared history.
