Centenary Memorial Service

Calvary Riverina Hospital, 26-36 Hardy Avenue, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650
An opportunity to gather and remember loved ones who have died, reflect back on their lives, and cherish their memory.
riverina-centenary-event page hero-memorial service
For one hundred years, Calvary Riverina Hospital has walked alongside families at some of life’s most tender moments. Our Centenary Memorial Service offers an opportunity to pause and remember all those who have passed at Calvary Riverina Hospital since the it first opened its doors.
Whether you come to honour a much-loved family member, a dear friend, or someone known only through family stories, you are warmly invited to gather in reflection and remembrance.
Grounded in Mission
From the beginning, prayer for the dying was central to the mission of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary who established Calvary Riverina Hospital.
That commitment to compassionate presence, dignity and care at the end of life remains at the heart of Calvary’s Riverina Hospital’s service today. This memorial service continues that tradition, offering a sacred space to honour lives lived and the love that endures beyond loss.
The service will be a multi-faith gathering, welcoming people of all beliefs and backgrounds. Light refreshments will be offered following the service, providing time for quiet conversation and shared reflection.
