Our hospital offers a range of amenities to ensure comfort and convenience for both patients and visitors.

Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital has been designed so that everyone can easily access our facilities, using inclined walkways and ramps throughout. All levels of our hospital are accessible by lifts.

We have clear, straightforward signage throughout the hospital to make it easier to find your way around. The signage uses contrasting colours to help people with impaired vision.

Wheelchairs are available for use while at the hospital. If you need a wheelchair, you can get one by asking at reception.

If you’re arriving by car and need a wheelchair, or assistance getting to or from your appointment, please phone 03 6332 4999 for help.

The chapel is located on the ground floor, is open at all times, and provides a calm and restful environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Please ask at reception for directions.

For chaplaincy services please ask a pastoral carer or a staff member.

Pastoral care

We also offer compassionate emotional support and spiritual care for you, your family and friends. Our Pastoral Care Program acknowledges your beliefs, important relationships and all that is meaningful for you. It affirms your intrinsic value as a person.

If you would like a visit from our pastoral care team, please ask a staff member.

A Kiosk staffed by friendly volunteers is open 9am to 2pm weekdays. Snack and drink vending machines are available on Level 3 near the lift.

Hairdressing services are available on request.

If you’re coming in for an overnight (or longer) stay, we have a range of private shared and single rooms available. Your preferred accommodation may not be immediately available, but we’ll arrange a transfer to your requested accommodation as soon as we can.

All our rooms have the following features and facilities:

All beds have a bedside phone. Calls are free of charge.
Ensuite
Small set of drawers for personal belongings
We provide all patients with free-to-air television at their bedside. There’s no charge for this service.

The onsite dispensing pharmacy at Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital will provide discharged patients with a short supply of their prescribed medications.

The pharmacy is owned and operated by HPS Pharmacies.

HPS Pharmacies can also fill prescriptions for public patients that have been written by a doctor associated with the hospital.

Post for delivery can be left at reception.

Visitor lounges

There are lounge areas on all levels of St Vincent’s Hospital. Please ask at reception or nurses stations.

Garden areas with seating are also available. Please ask at reception.
