Benefits, costs & sustainability

  • Minimal wait times
  • Choose your preferred surgeon
  • Holistic care including dietetics, psychiatry and counselling
As with all surgeries in a private hospital there is an out-of-pocket fee depending on the surgery and your health fund cover. Your surgeon can provide an indication of costs. Self-funding is also available.
Talk to your GP first. They'll discuss weight loss surgery with you and help you understand the risks and benefits. If you'd like to proceed, ask your GP to refer you to one of our surgeons for a consultation. Weight loss surgery involves a lifelong commitment to changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle. Only a bariatric surgeon can advise whether surgery is right for you.
