A refreshed future for Calvary Aged Care

Rosanna Views and Lower Plenty home upgrades

We're investing in the refurbishment of our Rosanna Views and Lower Plenty aged care homes to improve comfort, privacy and long-term living options for residents.

These upgrades are being carefully delivered in stages, so each home can remain fully operational while supporting continuity of care and resident wellbeing.
The refurbishment program reflects Calvary’s ongoing commitment to creating more modern, welcoming and homelike aged care environments for residents, families and staff.

What’s changing?

Enhanced shared spaces

The upgrades will also include improvements to shared and communal areas, including:
  • Refreshed reception and entry areas
  • Updated paintwork throughout key spaces
  • More welcoming and contemporary interiors
  • Improved layouts to support easier navigation and everyday living
These enhancements align with Calvary’s Environmental Design Guidelines, which focus on homelike settings, clear wayfinding and environments that support wellbeing.

Room upgrades for greater privacy and comfort

Where existing rooms currently share a bathroom between two bedrooms, these will be reconfigured into two private ensuites.
This means:
  • Increased privacy for residents
  • A more comfortable daily living experience
  • A more modern, homelike layout
  • Improved independence and dignity

These upgrades are an important step in ensuring more people can access quality aged care in their local community.
By improving environments and increasing capacity, Calvary is supporting better care, comfort and quality of life for residents now and into the future.
Works are expected to continue progressively until September 2026.

Supporting residents during works

We understand that refurbishment works can impact daily life.
Our teams are working closely with residents, families and staff to ensure everyone remains safe, informed and supported throughout the process.
In some cases, residents may temporarily move rooms while works are completed, before returning to upgraded spaces.
We will continue to communicate clearly at each stage and work to minimise disruption wherever possible.
