We recognise that these Custodians have walked upon and cared for these lands for thousands of years. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of First Nations peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.

International Women's Day 2023

Today is International Women's Day (IWD) - a day where we celebrate women's achievements and raise awareness about equality and equity for women.

This year's theme, #EmbraceEquity, focuses on the importance of gender equity being a part of every society's DNA and getting the world talking about Why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action. Everyone is welcome at Calvary, and we believe that the diversity that exists across our 19,000+ strong team is one of our key organisational strengths. We are proud that women make up 60% of our Board and over 55% of our National Executive Leadership Team (NELT). We are equally proud of the diversity that exists across our entire workforce, 80% of whom are women, and the expertise, care and compassion that is delivered every day to our patients, residents and clients.
