60 years of care
Donations and fundraising
For 60 years, Calvary Health Care Kogarah has been guided by a simple but powerful mission: being for others.
Since opening our doors in 1966, we have walked alongside patients and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments — offering care, compassion and dignity when it matters most.
As we mark 60 years of service to the community in 2026, we reflect with gratitude on the support of the St George and Sutherland Shires and our wider community. Your generosity has helped shape the care we provide today and will continue to shape the care we provide in the future.
Each day, our teams care for people facing illness, recovery and end-of-life journeys. Through the generosity of our supporters, patients and families are met with genuine presence, comfort and hope.
Your support enables us to continue this mission in practical and life-changing ways by equipping our teams with the best tools, investing in staff who walk alongside patients and families, and delivering programs that bring comfort, healing and connection.
As we celebrate 60 years of care, your generosity helps ensure that no one walks their journey alone.
To mark this milestone, we invite our community to take part in 60 for 60, a special anniversary initiative celebrating six decades of care while supporting the future of care at Calvary Health Care Kogarah.

Donate equipment
Donating equipment is a practical way to care for others.
By donating equipment such as wheelchairs to our equipment loan pool, you help patients maintain dignity, comfort and independence during their care journey. These generous gifts provide vital support not only to patients, but also to families and carers when it is needed most.
Donated equipment allows us to respond quickly to patient needs, ensuring essential items are available at the right time and in the right place. Each piece of equipment shared helps extend our mission of being for others in a tangible and lasting way.
If you would like to donate equipment or discuss what items are most needed, please contact our team:
Funeral collection
A funeral collection is a meaningful way to honour a life and support others.
Many families choose to invite donations to Calvary Health Care Kogarah in lieu of flowers, creating a lasting tribute that reflects compassion, care and generosity.
Funeral collections help us continue providing comfort, dignity and support to patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments, and extend our mission of being for others.
We can provide donation envelopes for use at the service, which may be collected in advance. For more information please contact our team:
