Quality in Retreat – Reigniting the Debate on Quality

As a member of the Global Impact Committee (GIC), I am pleased to share our first report, Quality in Retreat – Reigniting the Debate on Quality.

The GIC leads thought leadership programs to promote the priority of quality in health care aimed at senior leaders of health care systems, politicians and policy makers, and intends to provide practical advice and interventions.

I believe that one of the most important issues in health care is the pursuit of high quality, sustainable health outcomes.

This first report provides practical advice and interventions to get hospital boards into the realm of appropriateness of services, reduce unnecessary admissions and improve patient/consumer experiences to deliver a high quality learning health system.
