General visiting hours
Visiting hours at Calvary Wakefield Hospital are from 11am – 8pm.
We encourage visitors to our patients and have flexible visiting hours. The number of visitors and time of visiting may be restricted at the discretion of the nursing staff depending upon your clinical requirements and consideration of other patients in the area.
In the best interest of your recovery we encourage you to enjoy our hospital quiet time between 1pm – 3pm each afternoon. Visitors may be restricted during this period.
Intensive Care Unit
Arrangements to visit patients in this area are made in consultation with the nursing staff and are usually restricted to immediate family.
Please note there is a patient rest period between 1pm – 3pm.
At particular times during a patient’s stay, it may be appropriate for a family member, close friend or carer to stay overnight. Please discuss this with the ward Nurse Consultant.
