While the hydrotherapy pool at Calvary Rehabilitation Hospital has a bench seat lift along the pool stairs, the new system at Calvary Adelaide allows easy access for patients with limited mobility between the change room and the pool, being lifted and moved in a sling, via a ceiling track .

The testing phase was important as it allowed the team time to practise and feel confident in the use of the new apparatus and will enable a wider patient group access to the pool to enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy.
