The new residential aged care home is known as Huntly Suites, derived from nearby Glen Huntly Road, which was in turn named after a Scottish emigrant ship that docked in Melbourne’s Hobson’s Bay in the 19th century.

The Huntly Suites includes 83 suites for older people needing additional support and care and will provide the best in contemporary residential care. Expressions of interest are expected to open mid-2022.
