The Hon. John Watkins AM, Chair of the board, announced the appointment today.
John Watkins stated that “under Mark’s leadership, Calvary has established itself as an exemplary health company with a strong social conscience and unflagging commitment to the sick, vulnerable and aged, particularly those at end of life.
“Due to Mark’s fine leadership, Calvary is well placed to face the challenges and opportunities that present in the health, aged and community sectors.”
“With Mark at the helm we will continue to invest in growth initiatives and in the capability, systems, and technology needed to assure the provision of quality care to the communities we serve.
Mark, supported by the Board, will lead the organisation into this exciting new chapter all the while, continuing the mission of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, the founders of this great organisation and staying true to our values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect.”
