Greg Cooper appointed as new Calvary Health Care Board Chair

Mr Cooper, who currently sits on a number of Boards including Perpetual Limited and NSW Treasury Corporation, will start in his new role in November.
Greg Cooper is a former CEO of Schroders Australia, an investment manager, where he worked in numerous roles nationally and overseas for 18 years.
In welcoming him to the role, Michael Lee, Chair of Trustees said that in addition to his extensive corporate experience, Mr Cooper has also served on a number of Church, social welfare and mission related organisations. His involvement with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and Kincoppal Rose Bay are two examples.
The Chair of LCM Health Care, Jim Birch, congratulated Mr Cooper on his appointment and welcomed him to Calvary.
“It is notable that Greg’s background and experience will be very relevant to a sector that is changing and consolidating rapidly”.
Greg Cooper succeeds Jim Birch, who is retiring after six years of dedicated service as Chair of Little Company of Mary Health Care, for which Calvary Ministries is the responsible entity.
‘With more than 30 years global investment industry experience I am both a seasoned and adept chair of financial services companies and have been self-employed in non-executive roles since 2019,” Mr Cooper said.
“I look forward to bringing my broad experience as a Chair in both the corporate and not-for-profit worlds to Calvary Health Care with its strong mission of ‘being for others’ and to continuing to build its extensive tradition.”
