A fun time is always had by our volunteers and auxiliary members especially at their yearly Christmas lunch where they get to catch up with old and new friends, celebrate the festive season and reflect on the year that was.
The group never disappoint, filling the room with glimpses of festive attire and light-hearted banter.
For newcomers Dennis and Margaret it was a time to chat as their lives barely cross in the busy life of hospital volunteering. Long-timer Lynda, who had just returned from a lengthy trip, was more than happy to pass on her years of volunteering wisdom to these two newbies.
This photo was taken just after the exciting live entertainment that invited guests to loosen their hips with some Latin dance lessons. No doubt these three were having a good old laugh at the positions they found themselves in.
Lunch was a delicious feast of Christmas fare, accompanied by local wines and much good cheer.
