The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) solidifies the relationship between Calvary and the University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health and signifies the importance of industry collaboration in meeting growing needs for quality healthcare.

The partnership will facilitate opportunities for Calvary staff to undertake ongoing professional development programs, such as through short courses, micro-credentials, or postgraduate programs. The two organisations will explore ways in which these offerings can be tailored to Calvary’s needs as a large health care provider.

Calvary and the University will also explore a potential academy where each organisation will use their education expertise to develop a portfolio of fit-for-purpose educational opportunities for Calvary staff at all stages of their career learning lifetime. University students in health or biomedical science programs will also have the opportunity to undertake clinical placements at Calvary to demonstrate how their theoretical learning can be implemented, gain vital professional experience and better prepare them for the workplace.

The two organisations will also explore opportunities to collaborate on research and the translation and implementation of science into the clinic.
