Amplar Health and Calvary Health Care announce joint venture transition
The agreement is subject to satisfaction of a number of conditions, including consent from the South Australian Minister of Health and Wellbeing. Upon completion occurring under the agreement, Amplar Health will become the sole shareholder.
Calvary Health Care’s National Chief Executive Officer, Martin Bowles said, “Calvary is proud of the joint venture’s successes in its short time, including accreditation as one of the first stand-alone virtual hospitals. However, we have refreshed our strategic vision to deliver great, connected care across the Calvary services we provide,” said Mr Bowles.”
Amplar Health’s CEO, Rob Read echoed Mr Bowles’ comments, highlighting the success of their partnership in delivering models of care for the future to patients, outside traditional hospital settings, “Together, we’ve made significant strides in the delivery of healthcare, caring for patients where they are most comfortable and saving valuable hospital beds in the process,” said Mr Read.
