Let’s Talk About Dementia

Mitchell Park
Join us for an informative and open conversation about dementia as part of Dementia Action Week.
Let talk about Dementia

An open conversation about dementia, understanding and support

Hear from an expert panel as they share their knowledge, experiences and perspectives on dementia, while answering your questions and addressing some of the topics that matter most to families and the community.

What to expect

  • Expert panel discussion: Hear from professionals with expertise in dementia and related care.
    • Dr Lynette Jones – Geriatrician, who will share her clinical expertise and insights into dementia, ageing and the experiences of people living with dementia.
    • Dr Tony Hobbs – GP and former Chief Medical Advisor, Calvary, who will provide a GP perspective on dementia, including prevention, early understanding and supporting individuals and families.
  • Open discussion and Q&A: Ask questions and explore the topics you want to know more about.
  • Expert insights and perspectives: Gain a better understanding of dementia and the experiences of people living with it.
  • Connect and share: Meet others, share experiences and have an open conversation in a welcoming environment.
  • Complimentary refreshments: Enjoy beverages and light refreshments.
Whether you’re supporting a loved one, working in the community, or simply want to learn more about dementia, this is an opportunity to listen, ask questions and connect.
