This informative one-hour session for Statewide Progressive Neurological Disease Service (SPNDS) patients and their carers will explore how sharing personal stories helps us make sense of our experiences, shape who we are, and build connections. We will look at how storytelling supports the wellbeing of those living with a neurological condition.

What to expect:
Specialist clinicians from three SPNDS areas will share how they use storytelling in their work with gentle prompts for reflection and optional discussion. You'll discover:
Music therapy: storytelling through sound, song reflection, and songwriting
Social work: narrative therapy and understanding life experiences in context
Pastoral care: different ways of expressing stories through belief and faith
