Facilities

Our hospital offers a range of amenities to ensure comfort and convenience for both patients and visitors.

Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital has been designed so that everyone can easily access our facilities, using inclined walkways and ramps throughout. All levels of our hospital are accessible by lifts.
We have clear, straightforward signage throughout the hospital to make it easier to find your way around. The signage uses contrasting colours to help people with impaired vision.
Wheelchairs are available for use while at the hospital. If you need a wheelchair, you can get one on admission or you can contact patient administration on 03 6278 5333.
If you’re in the car park and need a wheelchair, or assistance getting to or from your appointment, use the phone next to the car park office and dial 03 6278 5333 for help.

Café
The Little Company café has a wide range of healthy options available including sushi, sandwiches and pies. There are also delicious sweet treats available and great coffee and tea.
The café is open Monday to Friday, 7am – 2.30pm.
Newspapers and magazines
Newspapers and magazines can be purchased from the Little Company café.
Vending machines
Vending machines are located on the ground floor near the Little Company café.

The chapel at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital is open at all times, and provides a calm and restful environment for all patients and visitors. People of all faiths and none can visit the chapel.
Mass for Catholics is celebrated each Wednesday at 12.00 noon and an Anglican Eucharist is celebrated every Thursday at 8.45 am.
The chapel is located on the first floor near the stairs.

If you’re coming in for an overnight (or longer) stay, we have a range of private shared and single rooms available. Your preferred accommodation may not be immediately available, but we’ll arrange a transfer to your requested accommodation as soon as we can.
All our rooms have the following features and facilities:
  • Adjustable bed
  • Bedside phone
  • Ensuite
  • Small set of drawers for personal belongings
Maternity rooms
Our maternity rooms feature fold-out single beds for partners, and some rooms have queen sized beds.
Bedside entertainment
We provide all patients with free-to-air television / radio at their bedside and there’s no charge for this service.

The onsite dispensing pharmacy at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital will provide discharged patients with a short supply of their prescribed medications. The pharmacy is open to the general public.
The pharmacy is owned and operated by HPS Pharmacies.

Patients may use their mobile phone while at the hospital.
Please be considerate of other patients, and keep call volume, duration and frequency to a minimum.

Visitor lounge
There are a range of visitor lounges available on each floor. Please ask staff to direct you to these areas.
