About Calvary Bruce Private Hospital
Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is co-located within Calvary Public Hospital Bruce campus in Canberrra, ACT, serving the communities of Canberra, Belconnen and the Gungahlin precinct.
We provide patients with compassionate and personal private care under their preferred doctors and specialists.
Our Hyson Green unit is the only dedicated private mental health facility in the ACT, providing outpatient mental health services and support more than 300 patients a year
Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with the Australian Catholic University, the Australian National University and the University of Canberra.
In September 2017 Calvary Bruce Private Hospital relocated to a new stand-alone facility on the south east corner of the Calvary Bruce campus.
Established by our founders, the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary in 1987, Calvary Bruce Private is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation, investing its returns to improve and develop facilities, staff and services for the continuing benefit of the community.

Community Advisory Council
The Community Advisory Council Group assists the CEO with, and provides advice on, community and stakeholder engagement. Through this group local consumers and communities can help us to make the best decisions when it comes to planning our services. Representatives are drawn from a broad cross section of the community and meet with Calvary Bruce Private Hospital executives on a regular basis.
