Calvary Health Care Kogarah provides public hospital services under a Service Level Agreement with the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and is an Australian Council of Healthcare Standards accredited hospital.

Research plays a critical role in supporting the provision of ethical, quality, responsive and compassionate health, community and aged care services.

Research Ethics and Governance Information System (REGIS)

It is mandatory for ALL NEW research project applications to be completed and submitted through REGIS.

Research education and training

The Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) offers a number of online research courses and programs, which can be accessed on my Health Learning (MHL); you must log in with your stafflink ID.
Additional education and training opportunities in research can be found on the SESLHD Research Office website; these include Q&A sessions twice weekly via TEAMS for researchers to drop in, no booking required, to discuss queries.

Calvary Health Care Kogarah understands the importance of engaging with consumers and the community on its role and activities, whilst also providing leadership and guidance to the health and medical research sector on the meaningful engagement of consumers throughout all stages of research and health care.
