An official Site Blessing of the Calvary Muswellbrook Retirement Community development was hosted by the Hon. John Watkins, Board Chair, Little Company of Mary Healthcare on Tuesday 15 March 2016.

Leading the official site blessing was Sister Bernadette Fitzgerald of the Little Company of Mary, Province Leader of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary and Father Brian Mascord, Vicar General of the Diocese of Maitland Newcastle.

Residents, staff and volunteers were invited to participate in the blessing of the site.

Among those present were Martin Rush, Mayor of Muswellbrook, Steve McDonald, Muswellbrook Shire Council General Manager; Sister Jennifer Barrow and Sister Ronda Singleton  of The Little Company of Mary; Father Anthony Nguyen of Saint James Parish; Greg Flint, CEO of the Calvary Mater; Calvary Community Care and Hunter New England Health representatives and many residents, families, staff and volunteers from Calvary Mt Providence.
