About Calvary Riverina Hospital

Calvary Riverina private hospital in Wagga Wagga, NSW, provides a range of services to the Riverina community including Calvary Riverina Surgicentre, our award winning Drug and Alcohol Centre, and Maternity and Women’s Health Services.

We provide specialist palliative care for acute patients and, as a member of the Palliative Care Alliance, have established links with hospice and home-based community palliative services for both public and private patients.

With eight modern operating theatres across two campuses, Calvary Riverina Hospital provides both day and overnight surgical medical services and for more critically ill patients, we provide Intensive Care and Coronary Care.

The Maternity and Women’s Health Services offer five delivery suites and a Special Care Nursery. Other modern, purpose-built facilities include an on-site hydrotherapy pool and gymnasium. Supporting Calvary Riverina on site is a cardiovascular laboratory, pathology services, medical imaging and cancer care services.

Calvary Riverina Hospital’s Drug and Alcohol Centre provides comprehensive in-patient detoxification services and rehabilitation programs.

Founded in 1926 by the Sisters of Little Company of Mary, Calvary Riverina Hospital is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation, investing its returns to improve and develop facilities, staff and services for the continuing benefit of the community.
