Bethlehem Voice Banking Workshop 2024

(In-person professional development event, limited online participation)

Learn about how the speech pathology team at CHCB developed and implemented a co-designed voice banking model and clinic for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The event will include demonstrations and practical activities to build clinician capability and confidence with voice banking (this process is applicable to any progressive neurological disease population)

Time: 1.30-4.30pm

Presenters – Nicki Jackson – Research and program development, Lillian Krikheli – co-researcher, Nicholas Jackson and Kaela Gomizel (Senior speech pathologists), Catherine Smart (Allied Health Assistant)

Venue – Calvary Health Care Bethlehem, St. Luke’s Conference Centre, Level 1, 476 Kooyong Road, Caulfield South (enter via Saturn Street)

Transport – Free parking is available in Saturn Street opposite the hospital. Bus stops on Kooyong Road. Closest train station is Gardenvale on the Sandringham line (It is a 20 minute walk to Calvary Bethlehem from the Train station)

Registrations – As this is a practical workshop, in person attendance is preferred. Online participation is limited to 12 participants. Speech Pathologists working in regional Victoria or Tasmania will be prioritised for online registration.

Cost – $90 for those attending in person and $70 for regional online attendees
