Overview
Dr Tim Walker joined the team at Calvary Mater Newcastle in 2017 after six years working, teaching and conducting in Rwanda, Africa. His research interests include dyspepsia, viral hepatitis and neglected tropical diseases. He is also involved in medical education and system improvement research, including the use of point-of-care ultrasound, bedside decision support tools (Including UpToDate), and blended learning methodologies (particularly team based learning).
