What is a fall with serious injury?

A fall with serious injury involves a fracture or a head injury.

At Calvary, we take falls prevention seriously. When a patient arrives at the hospital, we will conduct a risk screen and will develop a personalised fall prevention plan to reduce the chances of any falls.

Please make sure you come to our facility with properly fitted shoes with a non-slip sole.

How is this indicator calculated?

The number of falls is divided by the number of people who have been sent home from our facility.

What is a Net Promoter Score (NPS)?

The Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a metric used to gauge patient loyalty and satisfaction by measuring the likelihood that a patient would recommend Calvary Health Care services to others.

How is this indicator calculated?

We asked our patients, "on a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend Calvary to a friend or colleague?"

The NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of "detractors" (consumers who gave a score of 0-6) from the percentage of "promoters” (consumers who gave a score of 9-10).

Those who score 7-8 indicate a high level of satisfaction, however are less likely to actively promote our services to others.
