We take falls prevention seriously
We will conduct a risk screen on arrival and will develop a personalised fall prevention plan to reduce the chances of any falls. Please make sure you come to our facility with properly fitted shoes with a non-slip sole.
Central districts is below industry benchmark. We have put in place a new assessment to ensure we provide a strong falls prevention plan. We expect to be below benchmark next reporting period.

A lower number means fewer falls, we aim to have the lowest number and be under the industry benchmark. The number of falls is divided by the number of people who have been sent home from our facility. Doing this allows us to compare with industry.
We take infections seriously
At Central Districts, we take Infection prevention seriously. Infection prevention and control aims to reduce the risk of patients acquiring preventable healthcare-associated infections. Infectious agents transmitted during the provision of health care come primarily from interaction with other people – patients, clinicians and visitors. We have implemented a prevention program to ensure you stay safe.
