Dr Anthony Porter
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Graduated from Adelaide University in 1990 with M.B.BS (Hons). In 2002 he gained a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (F.R.A.C.S) and then undertook further post-graduate training in hand and burns surgery as a fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
Clinical Special interests
Special interest in seeing patients with skin cancers, hand problems and burns. In addition to his clinical training, Dr Porter is very interested in basic science research with four years experience in cell and molecular biology. In 2000 he was awarded a PhD from Flinders University for a Thesis studying Neurophysiology. His research has been widely published in both clinical and scientific forums.
