Professor Nicholas Glasgow appointed Chair of the Calvary PEoLC Research Institute

Professor Nicholas Glasgow has been appointed as Chair of the Calvary Palliative and End of Life Care Research Institute. Professor Glasgow takes over from the Inaugural Chair, Professor Liz Lobb. Professor knowledge, expertise and outstanding leadership have been invaluable in establishing the Institute as a leader in palliative and end of life care research. The Institute looks forward to Professor Lobb’s ongoing contribution in the role of Deputy Chair.
Professor Glasgow is the Head of the Centre of Palliative Care Research, based at Clare Holland House in the ACT. A Palliative Medicine Specialist, General Practitioner and former Dean of the Australian National
University Medical School, Professor Glasgow brings a wealth of clinical and academic experience to this role. Professor Glasgow is delighted to have been appointed to the role of Institute Chair and looks forward to building on the strong foundation laid by Professor Lobb and the lead sites as Calvary works to build the evidence base for improving care for people receiving palliative and end of life care and their families, carers and communities.
