Little Company of Mary Health Care welcomes commitments to Calvary Public Hospital

The Chair of the National Board of Little Company of Mary Health Care, the Hon. John Watkins AM, today welcomed ACT Labor’s election commitment to upgrade Calvary Public Hospital in Canberra.

“We welcome the promise of a capital injection to upgrade the hospital’s emergency department”, Mr Watkins said.

“And in particular, we note the acknowledgment from the Chief Minister of the key role that Calvary Public Hospital and its team play in the health care of the people of the north side of Canberra.

“As a major health care provider in the Territory, we look forward to continuing to provide acute services into the future and to working with the government on the longer-term planning of health services for north Canberra,” Mr Watkins said.
