Calvary John James wins ACT Large Employer of the Year

Calvary John James Hospital is thrilled to have won the 2017 ACT Large Employer of the Year award at the ACT Training Awards held at the QT Canberra last night.

The award recognises Calvary’s outstanding delivery of quality industry based training and their commitment to the highest standard of training for their employees.

Calvary John James CEO Tim Free said this award is recognition of the organisation’s values and commitment to keeping staff engaged, proficient, and compassionate in assessing and meeting the health and spiritual needs of our patients.

“Last night we were proud to attend the awards as finalists and humbled to win ACT Large Employer of the Year.

“We are very proud to receive an award that recognises our commitment to our staff by developing them professionally and spiritually. We have a team of the most compassionate, competent and committed health care professionals and support staff  in the country, and this can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of our team.

“This award was made possible thanks to the impressive training program implemented by Calvary John James Hospital Director of Mission, Frances Brown, and Joanne Greenwood, CEO of the College of Transformation, Education and Training (CTET) over the past ten years.”

The win puts Calvary John James Hospital into the National Training Awards in November.
