Dr Gabrielle Allen
Gabrielle enjoys a combination of work in the private and public sector. She has an appointment as a Dental Fellow in the Department of Paediatric Dentsiry at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and works part time at Adeladie Paediatric Dentistry in Dulwich.
Gabrielle graduated from her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Concurrent First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide in 2010. Following this she undertook part time private practice in a number of regional locations including the Adelaide Hills and Murray Bridge whilst working part time as a Resident Dentist at the Department of Paediatric Dentistry, Women’s and Children’s Hospital. From 2013-2015 Gabrielle completed her specialist paediatric dental training based at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and The University of Adelaide. In 2015 she also completed her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Gabrielle continues furthering her skills in advanced training through her placement as a Fellow of Paediatric Dentistry at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is currently the Vice President of the South Australian branch of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry and has been on the Committee for some years now. She has published a number of articles in the area of oral complications and dental management of children undergoing cancer treatment. Gabrielle enjoys the diversity of paediatric dentistry and prides herself on providing individualised care for all children.
