We take falls prevention seriously

We will conduct a risk screen on arrival and will develop a personalised fall prevention plan to reduce the chances of any falls. Please make sure you come to our facility with properly fitted shoes with a non-slip sole.

At St John’s, we take Infection prevention seriously. Infection prevention and control aims to reduce the risk of patients acquiring preventable healthcare-associated infections. Infectious agents transmitted during the provision of health care come primarily from interaction with other people – patients, clinicians and visitors. We have implemented a prevention program to ensure you stay safe.

It includes a broad range of infection types including surgical, gastrointestinal or urinary infections as well as important germs which can be resistant to antibiotics. Expert Infection Prevention and Control nurses use this and other clinical information to further reduce the risks in our hospitals.
