Calvary Flora McDonald Retirement Community, located in Adelaide, is a modern, welcoming facility that caters for residents from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Two brand new wings were opened in June 2017, including a brand new Vietnamese specific wing.
We have two different care options to suit you or your family member’s needs:

- Respite Care – Short term accommodation for up to two weeks
Residential Aged Care
Calvary Flora McDonald Retirement Community offers modern, purpose built accommodation. The facility features spacious rooms, large common lounge and dining areas and outdoor courtyards. Residents enjoy leisure and lifestyle activities including arts, crafts, bingo, cooking, exercise programs and singing.

Residential Care is for older people whom, for a variety of reasons, are unable to live at their home.
Staff provide support with day-to-day tasks and there is 24/7 access to specialist medical services.
Through an engaging leisure and lifestyle program and individualised care plans, resident’s emotional, physical and medical needs are catered for.
Before moving into a Calvary Residential Care facility, you will need to be independently assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). This is a free service.

Calvary respite accommodation is a great way to get the support you need when your regular carer is away, needs a break or has other commitments.

Respite accommodation provides support for you and your carer.
Residential Respite Care can provide your carer with a break. It may give them time to manage work commitments, handle family responsibilities, enjoy a weekend away or have an extended holiday.
It is also a good way to see if a Residential Care Facility is the right fit for you. Our respite accommodation gives you an opportunity to experience our wonderful care and friendly community before you make a formal commitment.

Calvary Flora McDonald has a specifically designed and fully supported Vietnamese wing within Flora McDonald.

Cư xá dưỡng lão Flora MacDonald tại Cowandilla, Adelaide, của Calvary Mary MacKillop Care đã được Chính Phủ Úc cho phép thiết lập 32 căn phòng đặc biệt dành cho người Việt, được gọi chung là Nhà Thiện Tâm. Đây là một nỗ lực rất lớn của các sơ St Joseph và Hội Thiện Tâm nhằm phục vụ cộng đồng người Việt tại Tiểu Bang Nam Úc.
Ngoài các dịch vụ chăm sóc cao cấp được mở rộng cho mọi cư viên, các vị cao niên người Việt tại Nhà Thiện Tâm sẽ được phụng dưỡng trong một bầu không khí thân tình, giống như ở nhà, bởi nhân viên người Việt, được ăn cơm Việt và sinh hoạt, tiếp xúc với người Việt trong đời sống hàng ngày.
