2025 Graduate Nurse Transition Program: Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals

Recently graduated EN’s and RN’s are encouraged to apply for our comprehensive research based Transition into Practice Program.
Our program allows Graduate Nurses to gain a variety of clinical experience and professional development in a supported environment, enhancing their growth and development in the clinical setting.
We support nursing graduates with dedicated Program Coordinators, Preceptors, Clinical Educators, Study Sessions, and the opportunity to apply for Calvary Scholarships in Clinical Honours through the University of Tasmania.
About the 2025 Graduate Nurse Transition Program (GNTP)
The 2025 GNTP may be undertaken at either of our two Hospitals in Hobart; Calvary Lenah Valley or Calvary St John’s. Positions are available in a variety of clinical settings including:
- Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery
- Paediatrics
- Orthopaedics
- General and Specialised Surgical
- Acute Medical
- Rehabilitation Services
- Oncology and Palliative Care
- Day of Surgery Care
- Peri-Operative and Endoscopy
We will be offering a 12 month permananent contract commencing February or March 2025. We consider the graduate year as the beginning of a long and hopefully rewarding career with Calvary.
