Make the most of your pre-tax earnings
Currently every Calvary full and part time employee can reduce their taxable income by taking up salary packaging.
As a Not-For-Profit organisation, the Australian Tax Office allows Calvary employees to pay for certain living expenses with pre-tax dollars.
You could salary package your mortgage, rent, personal loans, or general expenses such as bills and groceries. This reduces the overall amount of tax payable on your gross salary and increases the amount of disposable income you have to spend each pay.
Support when you need it
Calvary provides a minimum of three free and confidential Employee Wellness Program sessions to all employees and their immediate family members. This service is provided by a network of highly professional, friendly and caring psychologists and social workers.
This service can be used to address issues of a work or personal nature that may be impacting on your health and wellbeing, including:
- Mental illness
- Grief and trauma
- Coping with change
Flexible working arrangements
We support flexible working conditions. Over 70% of our workforce is part time and we employ over 2000 staff as casuals.
