Dr Michael McCleave
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
He has completed fellowship training in hand and microsurgery at the Kleinert Institute in the USA, a paediatric plastic surgery Fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London and the Mentor International Cosmetic Fellowship in London.
Michael is currently a Senior Consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Repatriation General Hospital. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer within the School of Medicine at the University of Adelaide. He is a member of the Federal Government’s TGA medical advisory committee. He is actively involved in the teaching of surgical registrars and has an ongoing research interest.
Clinical Special Interests
He has an interest in all plastic and reconstructive surgery with a particular interest in skin cancers, hand surgery, cosmetic surgery, paediatric plastic surgery, microsurgery and nerve surgery. His personal approach is to give patients honest and clear advice on the treatment options so they can make an informed decision about the option best suited to them. Cosmetic procedures use the latest short scar minimally invasive techniques and he only uses FDA approved implants.
