Rotary Club of Ginninderra sponsors Calvary Public Hospital Bruce Quiet Areas
30th November 2017
Calvary Public Hospital Bruce patients and visitors are about to experience an upgrade to visitor quiet areas thanks to Ginninderra Rotary Club’s generous sponsorship donation of $8,000 for the upgrade of the hospital’s quiet areas. The sponsorship was celebrated with the unveiling of a plaque acknowledging the Rotary Club donation.
The sponsorship has been used to upgrade the seating in the quiet areas of the hospital on Levels 4 and 5, and outside the Chapel. These areas provide quiet, tranquil places for people to relax, meet their friends and loved ones and consult with medical advisers.
“People using Calvary Bruce Public Hospital will greatly appreciate the Rotary Club of Ginninderra’s sponsorship, ” Shelley Castree-Croad acting Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Public Hospital said today.
“On behalf of the whole Calvary community we very much welcome their wonderful support. The numbers of people using Calvary Public Hospital Bruce continues to grow and this generous donation assists us in meeting the challenge of renewing and upgrading our facilities,” Shelley Castree-Croad added.
The Rotary District Governor, Steve Hill, was present at the launch of the Rotary Club of Ginninderra’s sponsorship along with members of the Club and representatives from the hospital’s Community Advisory Council.
