Other translated resources

In addition to our translated health information, other aged care, health and medical translated resources are available for friends and relatives of non-English speaking people. These include:

  • ‘My Aged Care’ provides translated resources to help older people find information about health services and what to do to receive them.
  • The Palliative Care Association Victoria provides translated Palliative care resources. Palliative care supports people with a life limiting illness and their families to live, die and grieve well.

The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS)  is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you think a relative, friend or client may need an interpreter, encourage them to use one by asking the receptionist, doctor or pharmacist. Give them details of the language, dialect and gender needed. They can then organise an interpreter.
