An opportunity exists for Housekeeping Assistants to work a variety of shifts at both our Lenah Valley and St John's sites.

The successful application will be required to meet our Infectious Control Policies and deliver a high standard of cleaning. The successful applicant must have the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical nursing education in the Accident and Emergency Department of the Lenah Valley Campus, Calvary Health Care Tasmania.
Selection Criteria:-

Essential
- Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate
- Minimum of 3 years recent post graduate experience in Accident & Emergency
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development of self and others
- Recent experience in facilitating education sessions, applying the principles of adult learning
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a team member

Desirable
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency/Critical care nursing
- Post graduate qualification and/or experience in education
- Recent experience in Accident and Emergency nursing
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing/willingness to complete in first year of employment.

Calvary Hobart is embarking on an exciting new project to upgrade our current kiosks and dining areas.

We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, experienced and creative hospitality leader to lead this project and to manage the Cafes at both our Lenah Valley and St Johns Hospitals.

The Cafe Manager will need to have a great attitude toward people, and a proven desire to manage all aspects of a cafe, as well as a proven work ethic and stable employment history in hospitality, which will be shown in their CV. The Cafe manager will be responsible for the planning, organising, monitoring and evaluating of the Cafes and public dining areas for Calvary Hobart.

The Manger will be responsible for providing a quality dining experience consistently across our hospitals. They will recruit, train and manage our Caf staff. The Cafe Manager works collaboratively with the Hotel Services Manager in the provision of compassionate and quality service to our community.

The Cafe Manager will have exceptional barista skills to maintain the highest coffee and cafe standards with consistency. The Cafe manager will need to have excellent people skills and the ability to mentor and train staff to deliver a consistent exceptional service.

Criteria
- Excellent personal presentation, hygiene and food safety skills
- Exceptional knowledge and skills in Food Safety
- Barista training and experience
- Proven experience to select, train, develop and supervise junior staff in a caf
- Ability to arrange the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Experience maintaining records of stock levels
- Experience in ordering, invoicing and stock control
- Proven ability in the management of the Point-of-Sale, including its up-keep and accuracy
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A willingness and a capacity to support and promote the Mission, Philosophy and Values of Calvary Health Care Tasmania
