Bequests, Donations and Gifts

Bequests, donations and gifts from the community and special fund raising events assist Calvary Services to provide the highest quality care and facilities, the latest in medical technology, teaching and training of health care professionals, and support of the most vulnerable and marginalised in our community.

Funds raised are applied to priorities identified by LCM Health Care and Calvary Services.

Bequests, donations and gifts are valued resources within each of our Calvary Services. Like Volunteers who provide unique and additional resources to our Calvary Services by sharing their skills and expertise, bequests, gifts and donations contribute to our Mission and Vision.

Each LCM Health Care and Calvary Service is recognised and endorsed by the ATO as having designated gift recipient (DGR) status allowing tax deductibility for donors. Most, but not all types of gifts are tax deductible. The ATO imposes various limits depending on the type of donation, the amount of the gift, valuation and other factors.
